Brain research has produced a variety of strategies that enhance learning, memory and recall. Participants will investigate how TPR Storytelling activates many of the principles of brain‐based teaching, (brain malleability, limited focus time, hierarchy of needs) by using tools such as personalization, surprise, repetition, pacing, participation, guaranteed success, etc. In addition, participants will discover how to promote language proficiency through framing, continual assessment, brain breaks, use of color, and music. We will also address the pplication of learning tools versus acquisition tools, based on how acquisition occurs in the brain.  (43 min.)
